I am married with three children and
live on a 78 acre farm in the Waimarino.
I trained as a Registered
Comprehensive nurse and further qualified as a Midwife.
I have taken a keen interest in
photography since secondary school but have only recently
pursued this avenue. I have rediscovered my passion for
photography, coupled with other interests of gardening,
landscaping, house renovations and a love of animals.
I completed “Photography for
Beginners” with a merit at New Zealand Institute of Business
Studies in 2008.
I have recently been attending Camera
Club in Wanganui and received Honours and Very Highly
Commended for various competitions I have entered.
The local
photographers have willingly shared knowledge and advice
providing me with great support.
I am inspired by the rural setting,
subsequently my photography comprises mostly of nature and its
beauty, animals and landscape.
I am very passionate about photography
and my goal is to enhance and expand my work into
portraiture.
Creativity is what I love and
photography gives me the medium, colour, balance, abstract and
freedom to create!
